Pavilion bakery is looking for a highly organised Operations Assistant to join its back of house team. The role would be assisting the owner and operations manager to provide extensive all round support to make the business run smoothly.
Pavilion is based in East London with a café in Victoria Park, retails shops on iconic market streets Broadway Market and Columbia Road and a new store in Newquay, Cornwall.
Key operations assistant responsibilities include:
• Managing all enquiries and responding to emails
• Managing calendars and business events
• Attending meeting and recording minutes
• Compiling reports for management meetings
• Controlling invoices and providing information for external accountants
• Placing recruitment adverts, scheduling interviews and coordinating inductions
• Managing Human Resources Files
• Managing team training schedule
• Updating the company website with events and news
• Auditing shops for complete paperwork including wastage sheets, timesheets and cleaning
schedules.
• Managing merchandise and branding stock levels
• Sign for deliveries and distribute accordingly
• Opportunity to support Operations Team in the planning and execution of larger projects
Skills required for operations assistant;
• Proficient in excel, word and powerpoint
• Professional telephone manner
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Have good personal skills and to be able to manage people
• experience in hospitality favorable.
