Addlux Ltd is a small, dynamic and rapidly expanding company engaged in developing, manufacturing and supplying high technology LED lighting products to small and leading companies throughout the UK and Europe. We commenced business in 2010 and are now looking for additional sales- and marketing support. We are now offering part-time or full-time positions for energetic sales and/or marketing people, who will help us shape the future of the company.
You will be personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven to succeed. You must be willing to learn, show initiative, work independently but also be a positive team-player. You can be starting your career or already have several years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Initial Responsibilities
- respond to phone enquiries
- after training, prepare quotes with input from our cost estimation team
- send and follow up on quotes, and maintain customer relationships
- develop new business through social media, telesales, etc.
- prepare a variety of spreadsheets for business development purposes
- quote and sales statistics, customer profiles, etc
- general administration, including handling of incoming shipments
You will be working alongside the Director who will constantly provide interactive training relating to our technology and our markets. With increased proficiency we will encourage you to take on more responsibility. For example, you could be asked to run the office in the absence of senior staff, and make sales calls independently. We will encourage you to assist in marketing activities and new product development. Due to rapid growth of the company and subject to your development, additional tasks and promotion would be a possibility.
Your Background
Essential
- Good English writing and speaking skills
- Confidence on the phone and a good speaking voice
- Good educational standards
- Proficiency in the use of the Internet, MS Word and Excel
Desirable
- experience in telesales, sales and sales support, general business administration, as well as customer relationship management
- experience in marketing (online or offline)
- experience in administrative tasks, and an organisational mind-set
- Good to excellent customer handling skills
- A background or interest in technology, but not necessarily specifically in lighting
- Based in West London
Working Conditions
After successful completion of a trial period you will you will work at our office in Chiswick, West London and have the possibility to work from home. We will agree terms of contract, subject to a trial period.
Remuneration will depend on your qualifications, your existing level of experience and results.
