A brilliant opportunity has opened up for full and part time Optical Assistants / Receptionists and a Dispensing Optician to join us in Kingston upon Thames.
Previous optical experience is preferred , however a background in providing excellent customer service and experience is necessary
We require extra staff to help run out exciting new services and products.

We are a forward thinking Optometry practice providing " Gold Standard "eye health services and supplying spectacles and contact lenses.
Here's what you will be doing:
You will be responsible for building relationships with customers. Your role will also involve doing general admin duties and use of computers and electronic diary based upon Microsoft office.
Day to day tasks:
- Pre-exam tests with state of the art equipment such as
Optical Coherence Tomography - Visual Field Examinations and Auto-Refraction
- Administrative tasks
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Making appointments
- Answering any customer queries
- In/outbound calls
- Assisting with the smooth running of clinics and diagnostics.

What you need for success:
We are looking for someone who is able to work in a team, able to work independently and has great time management skills. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, punctual, have the ability to multi-task, as well as a "can do" attitude.
Additional information:
- Working hours are currently between 8.45 - 5:45 Mon-Saturday 10.45 -5.15 on Sunday
- 5 days out of Mon-Sunday - on a rolling Rota to include a late night on a Thursday. However due to new clinical offering we are considering extended opening hours and the possibility of working a longer day but a shorter week : i.e. Maybe 4 long days rather than 5 normal days.
