Opportunity for an Office Administrator for an Established Company in London

London based company which has extensive experience and has a successful history within the retirement village sector has decided to expand their office support team. They are looking to recruit an Office Administrator for a part time to full time vacancy in Kew office.
The main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administration and support service to Senior Management. You will also be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The office is open plan, which allows for a good and friendly atmosphere whilst the exciting buzz in the busy office makes it a desirable place to work.
Successful applicants will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of the following duties and responsibilities of the role which will include:
Answer phones, take messages, post distribution, arranging couriers
Meeting and greeting all visitors
Office consumables and stationery replenishment
Responsibility for group mobile phone accounts and office phone system
Maintenance of Office premises
Utilities, Business Rates, Waste, Recycling etc
Making event, travel and accommodation arrangements
Other duties will might include:
General support to the Chief Executive, Operations Director General Counsel and Development Director
Carrying out specific projects and research Reviewing and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
Scope of other responsibilities such as payroll (depending on candidate and their experience)
The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and with own initiative, ability to respond quickly to issues and effectively manage a variety of competing activities and priorities. This position will be required approximately 25 hours per week which can become full time with normal office hours.
Ideally candidates will be a part-qualified accountant, mid to later stage Cima/ACCA with a few years work experience but will also consider QBE. Someone who has excellent experience in the job description areas and can hit the ground running. The candidate must have a ‘can do’ mentality and be a good team worker.
