Operations Support Transport Office - PART TIME WEEKEND Role- days of work Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
Location: Charlton, SE7 8RX
Main Responsibilities will include - but not be limited to:
•Responsible for fleet of 20 drivers, mechanics and loaders.
•Answering customer's queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. Follow up all customer inquiries.
•Taking, booking and fulfilling customer orders.
•Scheduling and organising of daily and one-off Waste and Recycling Collections.
•Collecting, collating and processing Invoices, Delivery Notes, Disposal Dockets from various Waste Transfer Stations, etc.
•Organizing Orders and Deliveries of parts and consumables.
•Monitoring jobs for any missing information and updating drivers schedules. * Setting up contracts and services. Updating database accordingly.
•General administrative support
• Updating and Maintaining the company O-Licence.
•Working in a team with of 2 operations support and Manager.
The ideal Candidate will have:
•Knowledge and experience in Haulage/Transport/Logistic or Waste Management Industry.
•Good understanding of Transport Policies and VOSA regulations, driver’s hours and route planning.
•Computer skills incl. Word, Excel.
•Prior experience of data entry work.
•Ability to work as a part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
• Be able to handle customer complaints.
•Effective communication skills with the ability to speak with people at all levels.
•Customer care.
Full time
Salary - 20 k per year
28 Days annual holiday incl bank holidays.
Working hours 8am - 4.30 pm
