Operational Support and Development Facilitator

The operational support and development of all members of the Chauffeur Group
Salary:
Working hours: 48 - Flexibility of the working Rota is a key acquisite of the role.
Role consists of following main responsibilities, with other variance depending on business levels:
Managing the effective operational performance of all members of the chauffeur group, by providing regular on site support across all of the operational areas of the business The position is very hands on, with the majority of time spent off site from the main office location at Brentford
Development of all members of the Chauffeur Group in the areas of daily engagement of Mix Telematics and vMDT
Conduct meetings and develop improvement plans for those chauffeurs that need to be supported in the areas of both Telematics and driver app processes
Liaison and attendance at meetings with our Mix Telematics and Insurance Broker POC
Manage group Telematics training sessions
Provide support to the Chauffeur Trainer in the areas of his responsibilities during training courses
Supervision of the Chauffeur Group at all operational locations.
Carry out on site inspections of chauffeurs and vehicles, to ensure the highest standards of presentation and adherence to the core standards and procedures are being met.
On site liaison with all Independent Operators and Sub Contractors to ensure they are adhering to Carey core standards for all services
Supporting the airport teams to maintain core standards at their respective locations and ensuring that chauffeurs are delivering to all elements of client expectation
Working with operational support teams to improve communications and relationships and in particular with the dispatch team.
Providing on site fleet support as directed by the Deputy Director of Operations. Vehicle Log Book and Mileage Inspections
Regular communication and interaction with the Carey Operational and Support Management Team
Liaison with the Chauffeur Group Administrator
Production of reports, with a view to feedback to both individual chauffeurs and the management team, including charting individual and group progress being made
Person Specification / Qualification
Previous experience of managing in a similar role with the ability to be able to engage and communicate with individuals as well as groups of employees
Understanding of the use of data analysis and technology to improve best practises via consistent use of the tools deployed to maintain employee and client safety
Must have previous experience in the telematics and driver work flow technology
Carryout essential duties in a timely manner
Energy, enthusiasm and commitment to be able to consistently operate in a fast changing environment
A knowledge and understanding of Equality and Diversity
Ability to demonstrate superior people management skills with the ability to
generate loyalty and motivate employees.
A flexible approach to working hours, understanding the need to support a
workforce and operation that is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Understanding of the need to utilise company assets and the workforce to best effect within the working time guidelines
Computer literate, experiences and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
software and ability to learn and understand Carey’s own Chauffeur Drive
Full driving license.
