Role overview
ECT is looking for an Operations Manager who would report to the General Manager, who in turn reports to the Chief Executive Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative charity and social enterprise in a role in which you can develop your career. The key purpose of this role is to manage the operations team to ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe, professional and timely manner and that ECT delivers customer service of the highest level. The role forms part of the management team of ECT.
This is a full-time, permanent position and the salary will be £33,000 to £37,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus benefits. The position is based at our depot in Greenford and the start date will be as soon as possible, subject to any notice period at the successful candidate’s existing employment.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The Operations Manager will have experience in managing and developing a diverse team and delivering customer service of the highest standard. We are looking for a team player with experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic operations or logistics environment. An aptitude for problem solving and a proven track record of improving and refining processes and systems is essential. Direct experience in managing transport operations is not essential.
