Overview
We’re looking for someone to join our team to help with admin and operations - we’re a small yet busy and growing catering company. No two days are ever the same but for the successful candidate it’ll be an opportunity to help us develop into the next stage of the business and be an integral part of the future part of the company.
A rough breakdown of the role is as follows:
- 30% is ensuring the daily lunch deliveries/smaller events run smoothly - from booking the drivers, to ensuring the right food and accompaniments go out, to liaising with relevant people at the clients.
- 30% is assisting us with responding to numerous client emails including requests for quotes, lunches, menus and any admin in the run up to an event.
- 30% is helping us run the business generally - ensuring we have sufficient supplies (e.g. Delivery boxes, aprons, smart service wear), filling in the order spread sheet with recipes and the following week’s orders, assisting us with calls to suppliers etc
- 10% is total wild card and being flexible to help out with whatever comes up!
Skills Required
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally have experience working either as an admin assistant and/or in operations for a business and/or in the hospitality industry in some capacity.
- Be organised, flexible and great at thinking ahead and outside the box - the job is busy and we’ll ask you to arrange/do a number of things in quick succession so it is a case of prioritising and not missing any.
- Be good with Excel, Powerpoint and computers generally.
Salary dependent on experience and upon request
