We are a family bakery based in the centre of Dublin who have been baking bread for decades in Ireland. We have a modern production bakery where we make beautiful hand made artisan products for wholesale.

We are now in the position where we need to employ an Operations Manager for the first time. Working closely with the owners and senior Management team, the below are some of the responsibilities you will undertake.

·Excellent knowledge of bread and artisan bakery products.
·10 + Years experience in a medium sized bakery (50 people +)
·Senior Manager / Bakery Management experience or management experience highly.
·Technically competent
·Working knowledge of HACCP, Health and Safety, BRC.
·experience in Artisan Bread production.

Duties would include the following;

·Leading a shift of up to 50 people in the manufacturing of soft breads, burger buns, puff pastry, Danish pastry on industrial production lines within a bakery that operates 24 hours a day.
·Ensuring the production lines are operated in accordance with company SOP’s.
·Ensuring daily production targets are achieved.
·Ensuring quality standards for products are at the level expected by our customers and management.
·Ensuring remedial actions are taken in the event of “out of spec” situations arising.
·Working with the Technical manager and Technical officers to ensuring all legal and customer manufacturing standards are maintained.
·Working with the Technical manager, Bakery directors to ensure all Health and safety systems on their shift operates correctly.
