An operations manager is needed for this small but expanding business, making guitar effects pedals. Duties would include dealing with international orders from individuals, shops and distributors (setting up a scalable process to do this), order fulfilment and invoicing, ordering office supplies, and some electronic parts ordering.
The job could suit someone returning back to work after a break, who lives fairly locally, and who has initiative and a flexible attitude to work as part of our team. At the moment you'd be needed 3-4 hours per day (daytime), five days a week, but hopefully the job could eventually expand to be full-time.
This is a fun and interesting field to work in, and we'd be relying on you to make the sales/fulfillment part of the business really work smoothly. You'd have the satisfaction of designing and implementing your own system.
The company is at a very exciting stage, and you'd see the effects of your work directly - helping it really take off!
Some experience with VAT, e-commerce, and logistics is necessary.
