The Green Man pub and hostel in Paddington have exciting opportunities for full and part time nightporters.
We're a young, independent pub company with a fantastic international team of Pub Lovers who work hard and play hard! We run backpacker hostels above easy going pubs with a great range of craft Beers and Gins and a Burger Craft kitchen putting out award winning burgers. This is a great entry level position within a vibrant company who pride themselves on promoting from within.
As the Night Porter you'll be responsible for looking after our guests overnight, checking people in, general cleaning and serving up a continental breakfast.
We'll provide you with:
A starting wage of £7.50 moving to £8.00 after 3 months
Online training with industry recognised qualifications
A 50% discount on food and a 30% discount in drink at any of our Central London venues
Enrollment in our BETTER training program that will provide you with all the tools you need to be a huge success
The opportunity to progress into more senior roles within the Pub Love family and earn more as we take over London!
In return you will:
Be responsible for looking after our guests overnight
Checking guests in and out on our simple to use computer system (training provided)
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the pub
Preparing our continental breakfast buffet for the guests (and for yourself!)
Display that confident, energetic 'can do' attitude that all our Pub Lovers pride themselves on
This is a fantastic opportunity for people who want to build a career in London and develop their skills within a company who value their staff and promote from within.
