We are a specialist office services company. The services we offer range from office design, fit out, refurbishment, office furniture supply and relocation.
We are currently looking for experienced furniture fitters and porters holding a Valid CSCS card to join our furniture installation and relocation teams.
Successful candidates should have experience in the office furniture and/or relocation industries. They should be well presented and professional in their approach to work. Our contracts are often carried out in operational 3rd party offices with the clients staff in attendance, so it is critical that our staff are professional and courteous at all times.
The work will mainly include taking delivery and installation of various ranges of new office furniture to old. Training will be provided where necessary. Furniture fitters will be expected to supply their own fitters tools and a plain black uniform consisting of black cargo pants and a plain black Polo shirt. The work will also include all aspects of commercial relocation.
Working hours:
We operate a flexible working system. As and when each job is received our automated SMS system sends out the job details to staff that haven't already been allocated elsewhere on other moves/installations, If you are available you reply accordingly and we allocate the jobs. If you are not available for any reason that is fine. All we ask is that if you commit to work that you turn up, on time, in uniform and work hard. We however have a zero tolerance on people agreeing to the work and then not showing up, this will result in a fine being issued, so its best to keep within company protocol to avoid this from happening.
Although we have staff on the road everyday, the roles available will also suit people that require part-time or flexible work.
Rates of pay:
We offer very competitive rates of pay depending on experience and qualifications. As individuals advance, so does their pay. Within the skill levels we have Porters, Trainee Fitters, Experienced Fitters, Drivers, And Supervisors.
Overtime rates are also available as follows:
Rate 1: 06:00 - 18:00 mon - fri (rate 1)
Rate 2: 18:00 - 06:00 mon - fri and all day saturday (rate 1 x 1.5 hrs)
Rate 3: All Day Sunday and Bank Holidays (Rate 1 x 2 hrs)
A driving License is not a requirement but if you have a clean license, are over 25 years old and have experience driving vans, this is a huge bonus.
We often send staff direct to third party sites, In this instance we would pay up to 1 hour travel time each way plus travel expenses. For jobs outside the M25 transport will be provided or a public transport option shall be covered.
