Based in Parsons Green, Alsans was established in 1970 in the production of handmade upholstered furniture, soft furnishings and more recently bespoke joinery work - predominantly working on high end private residential projects. Alsans has also seen the launch of its first trade showroom in 2007 which is re-designed and launched annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office management and administrative support, including preparing documents, answering phone calls, keeping the office organized
- Contacting suppliers and placing stock orders of fabrics and raw materials
- Coordinating internal and external meetings
- Administrative support to Managing Directors, assisting in sales quotations and estimates
- Managing accounts and financial records – experience on Quick Books is a bonus
- Respond to client requests and maintain strong customer relations
- Researching competitors – pricing, store openings, projects
- Answering phone enquires and writing emails in a professional and efficient manner
- Deal with invoices, chasing up overdue payments and monitoring ongoing orders
- Assisting in organizing showroom events and product launches
- Research and contact Interior Designers to build brand awareness
Key Skills
- High level of organization skill with the ability to manage numerous projects at once
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service focused
- Ability to deal, manage and respond to high volume of emails
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Proactive – working autonomously is key
- Computer skills - Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point;
- Confidence when answering phone calls and speaking to clients
