Office Assistant or Administrator

You would be working for a company that is currently the market leader in the high-end Italian decor industry in the UK and would be dealing with various daily sales issues, help the customers through all sales steps over the phone, via emails and in person in our store, and generally help to keep the sales processes running smoothly.
This is a office-based role, created due to expansion. You would work Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm in NW London.
You should be interested and have the desire to work in the retail industry and have a minimum of 1 years sales / customer service / administrative experience (ideally, but not necessarily within the retail industry).
The role itself revolves around helping our clients (architects / designers / professional applicators) with the right product and sales information so they can create an outstanding decor.
We're looking for for physically able, smart, punctual people who are living in London and would be willing to train them how to be part of a success story and how to improve their position and the company on a daily basis.
Essential skills:
Good command of written and spoken English
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Common sense
Reliability and punctuality
Good phone manners, high-end retail experience, knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks accounting systems and good command of Italian are all considered advantages.

Responsibilities and Duties
Communication with clients via emails, over the phone and in person
Execute sales strategy, check and enhance sales performance, create sales reports
Issue estimates and invoices through Xero, write complimentary slips, track deliveries
Resolve complaints
Help the team with various other tasks
Visit and participate at trade shows with other team members in London
Qualifications and Skills
