We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Travelfusion we are currently looking for an Office Assistant to come and join our team based in London. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary.
Travelfusion is the world's largest distribution system for 250 + Low Cost Carriers from around the world. We have offices in both London and Shanghai and a customer base around the globe. We’re growing fast, and would like you to be part of this team!
About the role
We are now seeking a super-organised, creative and flexible Office Assistant to help running and managing our office alongside the Office Manager and provide support to the team.
Duties and Responsibilities of our Office Assistant will include:
- Establishing and maintaining high standards of service
- Handling and screening telephone calls
- Sorting and sending post
- Meeting room management and catering (coffee, tea, lunches)
- Welcoming visitors
- Ordering groceries, IT equipment and stationery
- Co-ordinating all aspects to ensure the smooth running of a busy office
- Managing the relationship with the landlord and suppliers
- Sourcing quotes and new suppliers
- Office space planning
- Planning and organising Social Events as required
- Responsibility for Health and Safety and being fire warden
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Management and Executive team
- Occasionally making arrangements for international visitors from our other offices
- Being a key point of contact for employees and managers
- Recruitment administration (posting ads, filtering CV’s, arranging interviews)
- Arranging starter/Leaver paperwork
- Maintaining and filing employment records
- Co-ordinating performance reviews and probations
- Overseeing attendance (clocking in/out and hours), holiday and sickness records
Skills and experience required of our Office Assistant:
- You have great organisational and communication skills
- You have a background in office management or administrative/secretarial roles
- You are reliable and methodical
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment and juggling tasks
- You have excellent people management skills
