Office AssistantA construction Hire company based in Hendon, are looking for a friendly, sociable and hard-working Office Assistant, to join their growing team The ideal Office Assistant will be looking for a long-term commitment, the training period will be 2 weeks and the schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.As the Office Assistant you will be responsible for the following:Key Responsibilities:
Speaking with customers, giving information on different products and services and answering any questions and queries Communicating with customers on email, answering email enquiries and following up sales leads Taking orders by phone, email and WhatsAppUpdating customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within given time limits Compiling and verifying accuracy and sort information according to priority to prepare source data for computer entry Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents Applying data program techniques and procedures Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations and performing backup operations Scanning documents and printing files, when needed Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files Complying with data integrity and security policies Inputting and checking supplier’s bills Generating customer invoices Credit control Processing and managing payments.
Key Skills
Communication skills (fluency in English), written and spoken Knowledge in basic computer, internet, office and related web applications experience in sales and/or customer service is a bonus. Basic admin skills in QuickBooks Pro Candidates must be driven and motivated Must be able to show initiative You will possess excellent negotiation skills The ability to remain calm and patient when speaking with customers Able to keep information confidential.
