We’re now looking for an efficient office assistant to join our friendly team. This is a varied, busy role that will suit a self-motivated person.
Responsibilities
Answering the phone, dealing with visitors, post and deliveries.
Maintaining and updating records, documents, manuals, data entry, collation of resources and materials.
Scanning and occasional photocopying
Filing and maintenance of filing and archiving systems.
Maintaining and ordering office food and supplies.
Cleaning and tidying away plates, cups, and cutlery.
Processing and maintaining invoices and petty cash.
Managing birthdays, gifts, company events.
Arranging travel and accommodation
Ensuring smooth running of the office and company processes.
Monitoring staff leave and absences
Liaising with partners and stakeholders
PR and marketing support, for instance: assistance with copy-writing, publicity and marketing assets and campaigns, submitting and logging assets and resources.
Proofreading and checking copy and documents, marketing and publicity collateral.
Organising user testing, interviews, events and assisting with them on the day.
Occasional customer support
Timely and efficient dealing with these as well as any general and ad hoc duties, including help with company projects as and when required.
Requirements
Strong computer skills
Excellent organisational skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task, deal well with changing priorities, and work well under pressure.
Flexibility
Proactive, with a Muck-in attitude
Strong work ethic and reliability
Salary will depend on experience, £18,000 - £21,000 per annum.
