About Us:
We run a small family owned contract cleaning company which is based in Surrey but we have jobs across London, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Bristol. We carry out cleaning and carpet cleaning in the communal areas of blocks and offices.
About the role:
We are currently looking for a cleaner to work on a part-time basis at an office in central Croydon and at two additional communal area sites in West and South Croydon.
Site 1 – Office in central Croydon. The office is cleaned daily from Mon-Fri and the cleaning would need to take place from 5.00am until 8.00 am.
Site 2 – Communal area in West Croydon – This site is cleaned on a fortnightly basis on a Tuesday and is 5 hours work working with one of our existing employees.
Site 3 – Communal area in South Croydon – This site is cleaned on a fortnightly basis and is 2 hours work.
* Site 1 and 2 could be accessed without own transport as cleaning equipment is either kept onsite or bought along by another member of staff. However, site 3 would need to be driven too with equipment as there is not storage on site.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. We are often taking on new work so are ideally looking for somebody who would want to take on more sites in the near future.
The kind of cleaning entailed would be:
• hoovering
• dusting of desks, skirtings and bannisters
• cleaning toilets and office kitchen and replenishing supplies
• cleaning and polishing glass
• wiping off marks on the walls
• sweeping out bin stores,
• litter picking carparks and external areas
We provide equipment and uniform but you would need to have your own transport to get to site 3 with the equipment.
We are looking for somebody who is reliable and trustworthy, pays attention to detail, can work independently and who is friendly and approachable.
Would suit someone who is looking to supplement their current part-time income or pension. This may also suit a couple or two friends who would like to work together.
We do not directly employ staff. All our cleaners are self employed and send us an invoice on a monthly basis detailing the hours worked. We pay on a monthly basis and we pay £10.00 per hour.
