Office Assistant / Order Processing
Part time position available for an Office Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in an Office Assistant role on a part time basis over the weekend. You must be numerate, IT literate with good attention to detail.

Based at our office in Stratford, the Office Assistant will be joining our small, friendly, helpful and supportive team that builds long-term business relationships with its clients based on trust, honesty and integrity.
The role will be for assisting in the day to day organisation of the office, ensuring the movement of stock through the business - goods in, inventory management including periodic stock takes, goods out, transport and distribution of orders to customers, product packaging is carried out accurately and on time, together with any Ad-Hoc associated tasks, including dealing with customer queries over the telephone or by email.
Job requirements:
• Print and prepare orders, including picking and packing stock
• Package products into boxes and prepare boxed shipments for wholesale orders
• To receive and book in deliveries according to company procedure
• To count and record stock figures and carry out quality control checks as requested
• To develop productive working relationships with colleagues
• To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence
• To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines
• Will ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities
• To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Manager
• Visit the local Post Office to drop of packages
Essentials Skills and Requirements:
• Must be self-motivated and be able to use own initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Numerate and literate
• Good communicator
• Able to work to deadlines
• Have an understanding of good customer service
• Be reliable and hardworking
• Able to multitask a number of functionalities
• Must be computer literate
• Social media skills such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter an added bonus
Contract:
7.5 -15 Hours Contract per week with an option to pick up seasonal overtime which can be mutually discussed. Working hours 9:30 - 17:30 pm however, longer hours might be required during busier periods.
Salary: £8 per hour (£7.50 per hour during probationary period of 3 months)
