Office admin Assistant - Job Specification.
This job is to cover person on maternity leave.
Location: Hayes, West London –
Closest Train Station – Hayes and Harlington (British Rail)
Full time Sales Office Assistant - £9.00 per hour.
Hours – 40 hours per week. Full Time Monday to Friday.
The Role
The Sales Office Assistant is responsible for our customer order processing including all steps of the process and assisting the sales team as required.
Duties include, but are not limited to…
• Receiving and dispatching of customer products.
• Producing customer invoices.
• Following up on overdue invoices.
• Answering incoming calls. – Not Many Calls.
• Communicating with customers and suppliers by phone and email.
• Processing customer orders.
• Assisting with sales reports.
• Maintaining customer records in the company database.
• Placing orders on suppliers.
• Producing and maintaining price lists.
• Producing customer quotations.
• Maintaining company records (holidays, customer warranties etc.)

The Person
You will have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic to help us maintain speed and quality of response to our growing customer base. The company is small but expanding and, as a result, there will be periods where you may be the only person in the office Therefore being able to work independently and use your own initiative is essential.
experience of working in an administrative role in a sales or other environment would be desirable but is not essential.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be computer literate (including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), timely, honest and hard-working.
Basic English is required
