We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our lovely team of professionals in Herne Hill/Brixton.
Under the Willow is an eco friendly purpose built nursery, with lots of leafy outdoor space, based in the Herne Hill/Brixton area. Travel is easy from Brixton Tube or Herne Hill Station and there are lots of buses.
Our team is warm and welcoming and we are passionate about childcare. We work with children aged from 3 months to 5 years, surrounding them with fun, laughter and happiness, making every day a joy for our children and for our team. There is lots of opportunity for training and development, we look to promote from within.
Hours: Flexible working or full time. Monday to Friday.
Role: To provide a high standard of care for our children. Form and maintain strong partnerships with the parents. Meet the individual needs of all our children. Be an effective key person for a group of children and understand the key person system. Provide a safe and healthy environment.
To work as part of our team, providing a happy and nurturing environment in which all our children can play, learn and develop.
Qualifications and experience: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. experience of working in a nursery. Good working knowledge of the EYFS.
Requirements: All employees are required to read, understand and adhere to our policy about safeguarding and protecting children and have robust knowledge of Prevent Duty, British Values and FMG.
A DBS check at enhanced level is required, together with two acceptable references.
