We are looking for fun, caring and experienced Nursery Nurse/Assistant to work as part of a team to ensure the children attending the setting receive the highest standard of care and development. You will be working 45 hours a week (paid lunch breaks included), Monday to Friday. The hours are 7:30am till 6:30pm on a Rota basis.
Key responsibilities:
To work as part of a team and use own initiative.
To be punctual and have good time keeping.
To be well presented and adhere to the nursery’s dress code policy.
Act as key person to a group of children in your base room.
Alongside other staff, plan, develop and carry out a range of age-appropriate activities.
Keep up-to-date records of achievements that are shared with parents and used as a basis for planning.
You will need the following qualifications and experience:
CACHE level 2/3, NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
Excellent organisational skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
Hold current Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willing to attend the First Aid training.
Starting salary: £18,000-£19,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
