Deputy Nursery Manager
JBD Recruitment is working on behalf of well-established, privately owned Nursery. Our client is opening a new nursery based in Croydon and is looking for an enthusiastic professional to take the role of Deputy Manager. Their operation runs 51 weeks per year. At the moment they do cater up to 50 children aged from 4 months to 5 years.
As a Deputy Manager you will be involved in various duties; starting from being responsible for rooms and staff, through administration responsibilities; up to building positive relations with children, parents and other staff members. As a deputy manager you will ensure the deliverance of high quality practice standards; smooth day-to-day operation run and that health and safety procedures are followed at all times. This is a permanent role available for immediate start with negotiable salary depending on experience.
Requirements:
• A minimum NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent or above
• Ability to manage and lead team of professionals of different levels
• Good knowledge of Nursery Procedures and Policies
• Able to work 40 hours per week
• Strong and effective communication skills
