About the role
At N, we’re lucky enough to be building everything from scratch. Our brand-new 90-capacity Nursery and Family Club will be fitted with all-new facilities and the finest equipment around. That’s why we’re looking for a friendly and responsible housekeeper to make sure our building is kept clean and in excellent condition for our customers - both big and small.
Our building has 5 x spacious mixed-use rooms, as well as a Cafe (running all week), washing and changing facilities, kitchen and garden area.
The role is flexible, working 40 hours across Monday–Sunday, with a focus on housekeeping around the weekend family club.
What you will be doing:
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all children and staff throughout the week
- Making sure that the building is cleaned regularly during our busiest Family Club periods across the weekend.
- Delivering best-in-class customer service and maintaining a positive rapport with children and parents.
- Carry out regular stock take of cleaning supplies, working with our General Manager to order replacements as needed
- Notifying the Nursery Manager when equipment needs repair
About You
- Passionate and positive (always see the glass half full)
- Driven by a ‘make it happen’ attitude
- A love for customer service (making people happy)
- High energy brought to every task you take on, and solution driven approach to problems
- Someone who loves working with children and families.
- Able to work quickly and effectively during busy service times.
- Min 2 years’ relevant experience
- Previous experience in cleaning in a similar environment
