Live-out nanny, 5 days a week, 8.30am - 6.30pm, for one beautiful boy, 2.5 years old.
We are a friendly, professional, creative family who are looking for an experienced nanny to take charge of our son. The nanny needs to be proactive, energetic, positive, calm and fun loving with a real zest for life. You must have a “can do” attitude and it is imperative that you live locally and have a good network of nanny friends in our area to enable our son to continue to have regular play dates.
We live in a beautiful south facing property 3 minutes from Highgate Station. This will be your base. A good knowledge of the surrounding areas is a must. These are Highgate, Crouch End and Muswell Hill, but also further afield.
The nanny will attend regular local classes and playgroups with our son. The nanny must also have a strong desire to create fun games and things to do that will encourage his learning and developmental skills. Regular reading is also a given. You will be happy preparing daily fresh, healthy meals and tidying up as you go. The nanny will take care of all our son’s laundry needs. Some light housework will also be required.
The nanny will also be expected to keep a daily diary to provide information about our son’s activities and meals. The nanny will also make sure that any Kiddy essentials are always in the house, e.g. Wipes, milk etc.
The family would like occasional flexibility for the finishing time in the evening, just in case they are running late, this doesn't happen very often. Some babysitting will be required.
Excellent knowledge of the English language is essential, (both verbal and written) and a non smoker is also a must.
The role would start at the beginning of September. We are looking to pay around £10 an hour net.
