THE ROLE: We’re looking for an outgoing, positive sales and store assistant to join our team and share in the passion of selling our diverse range of wine Beers and spirits. You will report to the retail manager and will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: You will work as part of a team to create a friendly and positive shopping environment, with a strong customer focus at all times. You will build up a strong product knowledge, deal with customer requests and orders swiftly and efficiently and ensure that stock replenishment on the shop floor is carried regularly and efficiently to maintain excellent product presentation. The aim being to ensure that our customers always have a positive and enjoyable experience. In addition and along with the rest of the team you will be involved in accepting deliveries and storage of good inwards, and attending to customer telephone, email and online orders and enquiries.
HOURS OF WORK: The role is full time, comprising 40 hours per week. The shop is open 7 days per week and your normal working will be 5 days out of every 7 spread in rotation so that all store staff work an equal proportion of weekdays and weekends.
ABOUT YOU: You’ll have a genuine interest in the field of alcoholic drinks in general and a desire to learn about our range of products in detail. You’ll be confident in a customer facing role and keen to provide a high level of service. You need to be at least 18 years of age.

JOB LOCATION: Hampton Hill, near Twickenham in South West London.
REQUIRED experience/QUALIFICATIONS: None needed, you just need to have a suitably confident personality for the retail environment, a genuine interest in the type of products we sell and the desire to learn about them in real depth.
