Position: Baker - Night Shift
Location: Acton, London
Contract type: Permanent full time (Night Shift)
Starting Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 dependant on experience
Overall Purpose and scope of the job
To assist with the overall production of large quantities of bread making each of our products irresistible. Always ensuring you follow recipes to Paul UK standards and make the products in the traditional French artisan way using your hands to mould and shape the bread dough. To scale, divide, shape and bake bread the Paul UK way in ventilated ovens.
Key Objectives
•To produce full range of products to the highest standard and quality using the company recipe specifications
•Ensure stock rotation is adhered to for all ingredients daily, particularly flour and Yeast
•To provide the highest standard of product quality at all times
•To maintain an awareness of the production plan and ensure that this is met at all times
•To report to all shifts as required on the Rota
•To be an active team player and support/coach colleagues
Skill and Technical Requirements
Previous experience in Bread production
Bakery experience an advantage (mixed, weighed, divided and shaped dough)
Passionate approach to food
A good sense of taste, smell, and touch are important
We are looking for someone semi-skilled as training will be provided.
