The Steam Engine pub and hostel in Waterloo has exciting opportunities for full and part time nightporters.

We're a young, independent pub company with a fantastic international team of Pub Lovers who work hard and play hard! We run backpacker hostels above easy going pubs with a great range of craft Beers and Gins and a Burger Craft kitchen putting out award winning burgers. This is a great entry level position within a vibrant company who pride themselves on promoting from within.

As the Night Porter you'll be responsible for looking after our guests overnight, checking people in, general cleaning and serving up a continental breakfast.

We'll provide you with:

A starting wage of £7.50 moving to £8.00 after 3 months.
Online training with industry recognised qualifications.
A 50% discount on food and a 30% discount in drink at any of our Central London venues.
Enrollment in our BETTER training program that will provide you with all the tools you need to be a huge success.
The opportunity to progress into more senior roles within the Pub Love family and earn more as we take over London!

In return you will:

Be responsible for looking after our guests overnight.
Checking guests in and out on our simple to use computer system (training provided)
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the pub.
Display that confident, energetic 'can do' attitude that all our Pub Lovers pride themselves on.

This is a fantastic opportunity for people who want to build a career in London and develop their skills within a company who value their staff and promote from within.
