We are a professional couple with two boys, aged 4 years and 21 months. We are expecting our third child around 22 September. We live in Highgate, 5 minutes walk from Highgate tube station.
We are looking for somebody loving, tender, flexible, extremely organised and experienced to take care of our newborn during the night and also to offer breastfeeding support. A positive and professional attitude / friendly disposition is essential, as well as being a non-smoker.
We anticipate the hours to be 4-5 nights per week, approximately 9pm - 7am, although we are flexible and open to suggestions as to what might work best for baby / family as we have not had a night nanny before.
I will be having a c-section therefore I should have an exact date by mid August. This role will be ongoing until baby is settled into a good routine (minimum of 4 months), at which point we may continue with a night nanny on a less frequent basis (e.g. 2-3 nights per week). There is no expectation that our night nanny would be responsible for our other children.
Applicants MUST:
Hold a relevant childcare qualification
Have a recent DBS check (or be prepared to undertake one)
Be completely fluent in English
Have previous experience with newborns as a night nanny / maternity nurse
Be a non-smoker
Be able to provide qualified breastfeeding advice and support (particularly around latching on correctly).
Provide up-to-date, verifiable references.
