We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as the hotel’s new Night Manager. The ideal candidate is an individual who cares about providing excellent service to our guests and who can use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wondrous experience for everyone. You will be able to maintain a positive and calm outlook regardless of what challenges the shift might bring. Key Responsibilities:
When working as a Night Manager you will be the main point of contact for all in-house and external guest queries and requests during the night and supervise the Night Receptionists working alongside you. You will also;
•Liaise with all departments and ensure swift and efficient communication across the hotel
•Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided and identifying opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate;
•Ensure team members work together and communicate to provide a continuously high standard of service to our guests
•Report and follow up on any comments, VIP arrivals or departures as they occur throughout the night
•Maintain staffing levels to meet business demands
•Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Key Requirements
•Previous experience working in Front Office, preferably within luxury hotel properties.
•Proficiency with computers and computer programs (Microsoft Office), ideally experienced in ONQ systems
•First Aid Certification is highly desirable
•Ability to engage and connect with guests and team members, with a creative, forward thinking approach
•Hands on operational style with high visibility within the team and for our guests
•Excellent planning and organizing skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
•Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
•A good communicator who can maintain positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Available to work weekends and shifts
