Night Concierge / Support Worker (Temporary)An experienced Night Support Worker/ Concierge worker is required to work in North London for our client on a 1 month temporary contract. Reporting to a Unit Manager you will assist in the provision of security for the project and provide basic support to vulnerable adults. What work is involved The role would suit an enthusiastic, organised energetic person with experience of supporting service users in a hostel or residential setting by providing a concierge service, monitoring access to building. This work will include: * Ensuring that the hostel is kept clean and safe and taking appropriate action to maintain the condition of the building, reporting hostel repairs. * Carrying out regular checks in the hostel, checking conditions of all communal areas. * Ensuring the hostel is secure by regular patrols and monitoring external doors and access in and out of the building * Carrying out resident room/flat checks as necessary. * Monitoring and reporting on the external environment, including local resident phone calls, and taking appropriate action * Spending time talking to the residents; supporting the key worker role with clients likely to be seen more at night. * Dealing with any disputes or emergencies and completing incident reports. * Dealing with telephone and general enquiries and any other general administrative duties.
