About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Night Chef to the kitchen team here at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
•To prepare food items as assigned and in accordance with recipes and complying with Company and Hotel policies, procedures and standards to meet customers’ satisfaction.
•To organise and set up the assigned section of the kitchen and prepare dishes as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximize productivity.
•To refill all drawers with fresh mise en place for the following days service, and to give a list of items missing if there are any.
•To cook food for the night team on duty from the prepared list given by Executive chef.
•To manage and over see that the night kitchen porter is doing his duties as stated on his work sheet.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
•Basic Food Hygiene, NVQL3 Desirable
•experience in Kitchen with a similar level food preparation or equivalent
•Previous 5*hotel experience (desirable)
