Select Meat and Poultry Ltd, based in Ilford, Essex, are one of the UK's leading suppliers of quality meat to the restaurant trade.
Established in 2000 by James George with the invaluable help of his Dad Keith, Select supply over 400 of the country's finest pop up kitchens, caterers and restaurants.
As they expand, Select are looking for both day and night shift butchers, as well as meat packers for their head plant in Hainault. Ideal candidates will have:
- A good deal of experience in the meat and butchery industry
- experience in whole carcass breakdown
- Accurate portion cutting skills
- An enthusiasm for their job and the ability to work and fit well within a fast paced, team environment
- A good knowledge of meat products and/or the restaurant trade
Competitive salary, between 40 and 50 hours per week to be discussed on contact.
