Commis Chef
As Commis Chef, you’ll extend your track record of wanting to produce the great quality dishes at our new all day dining concept restaurant and bar. You’ll work in a modern and prestigious environment where professional development is nurtured and great service is rewarded.
Florentine is an all-day dining restaurant and bar minutes from London South Bank’s trendy Lower Marsh and Waterloo, opposite Lambeth North tube station. Opened in Spring 2022, Florentine serves a Brasserie-style menu with a focus on flatbreads cooked in a wood-fired oven and our signature Ostrich egg dishes. Our bar features the best of British bubbles and craft Beers as well as a range of superfood cocktails, with DJ sessions throughout the evenings and weekends for a refreshing, relaxed vibe.
Main tasks and responsibilities
•Sets up “mis-en-place” for own station
•Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation
•Prepares sauces, soups and hot entrees
•Sets up for lunch and dinner according to Chef de Partie’s instruction
•To ensure that the company Brand Standards are observed and focused throughout the year.
