New Marco Pierre White Restaurant Opening - London
Marco Pierre White is an acclaimed chef, restauranteur and TV personality. He has more than 35 restaurants across the UK under five different brands.. His restaurants are not about Michelin cooking standards but his desire to make good, quality restaurant food that is accessible and affordable to varying budgets.
Chophouses first emerged in London in the 1690s serving individual portions of meat, known as chops, to their wealthy customers. Mr White’s aim is to keep the British chophouse tradition alive serving up succulent joints of meat within glamorous surroundings. Our menu Cleverly combines English classics whilst also introducing a little French flair that epitomizes Marco’s cooking style. The menu focuses on steaks, grills and chops.
We are bringing back the Chophouse to London and opening a brand new 120 seater Marco Pierre White Chophouse restaurant in the hip and bohemian area of Whitechapel, London.
Due to open in October 2022 the restaurant will provide a “theatre kitchen” to create a really “wow” dining experience.
As Sous Chef you will play an active part in the production and service of high quality food using the freshest ingredients.
Motivation and inspiration are essential to communicate the way forward and continue with the restaurant’s success. The role incorporates the need to help maintain standards, work as part of a team and have the drive, passion and determination to progress your career.
The successful candidate will need to have the following requirements:
• To support the Head Chef in running the kitchen team and to deputise in the absence of the Head Chef
• The ability to prepare food to a high standard
• Hard working with good communication skills
• Able to provide exceptional standards under pressure
• To be able to motivate and coach a team
• Catering qualifications and experience within a similar establishment would be advantageous
