An ideal role for someone seeking part-time employment with comfortable accommodation in London (no rent or bills). Meals included. You may be a part-time student, seeking to gain childcare experience or a nanny changing career.
The Family A professional couple with 3 boys ages 2.5 years, 7 and 10 years are seeking a new Au Pair/plus. The current Full-time Nanny of 3 year’s is no longer required as the youngest will be attending nursery every morning. The boys are described as sporty, bright, enjoy school life, good sense of humour and enjoy each other’s company. No medical or dietary requirements. Mum is a painter with a studio at home. When work isn’t busy, she likes to be hands-on with the boys. A warm, welcoming, comfortable going family home environment. They spend holidays and some weekends at their country home.
Location - family home – offered accommodation.
The family live in Wandsworth, South London. Good transport links and provides a range of restaurants, shops, parks etc. The Au Pair/plus will have her own comfortable room with own bathroom, situated in a private area of the family home. You will have access to other rooms in the family home and wi-fi.
Duties/Responsibilities
The morning routine of getting boys up, ready, breakfast and 15 – 20 minutes’ walk to school. Shorter if a driver. Two of the mornings, the eldest has early starts, and mum will take him. Collect the youngest from nursery at 12noon. Lunch and nap time. Collect the other two from school at 4 pm or later if at a club. Support homework, dinner and bath/bed routine. During the day, cook a healthy meal and carry out domestic duties related to the children only. The family have a cleaner. During the holidays, having fun days out. Keep all used areas organised and clean.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1-Year minimum childcare experience. Ideally live-in but not essential.
experience caring for multiple children and school ages.
Fluent in English if not native with the ability to engage in stimulating conversations.
Contribute to children’s intellectual development by offering stimulating age-appropriate activities such as; counting puzzles, arts and crafts, singing nursery Rhymes, story time with open questions to encourage imagination, role play, physical activities – riding a bike, swimming etc.
Promote good manners, social skills and independence.
Create fun, loving and safe and organised environments.
Enjoys cooking and promotes healthy eating.
Energetic, sporty and enjoys outdoor activities.
Super organised with excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
Most importantly, genuine interest to work with children, a loving – gentle approach and happy to work in a team with parents.
A driver is a bonus, not a must.
Provide 18 months minimum commitment

Salary: to be discussed and dependent on the profile. £135 per week minimum.
Start: Early September with the flexibility to wait for the right candidate.
