Peabody has exciting opportunities for 2 Neighbourhood Services Support Officers to join our team based in London. The successful applicants will join us on a full time fixed term basis of 12 months and will receive a competitive salary of £23,377 - £27,504 per annum.
The Neighbourhood Services Support Officers role:
To support Neighbourhood teams to enable NM's to provide excellent front line customer service. NSSO will be expected to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and the departmental/team objectives are achieved.
Key responsibilities as the Neighbourhood Services Support Officers:
- Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders in order to support our customers.
- To be available to deal with counter duty as required.
- Advise and support our customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed and proactive resolutions are identified.
- Update and maintain systems/ records to ensure that information/data is kept up to date and accurate and that KPI’s are met. To produce and analyse Key Performance Indicator (KPI) information monthly and as required.
- Undertake support duties for the regional teams, including collating and maintaining performance information and assisting with lower level housing management duties, take calls from residents and other partners.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organisation.
- To handle orders, invoices and maintain expenditure records.
- Log and respond to customer queries on complaints. Manage tenancy files, process requests for estate key, fobs, pest control services and parking enquiries.
Knowledge/skills/experience required by the Neighbourhood Services Support Officers:
- experience of working in a private or public sector customer facing team and of providing high quality customer service.
- Intermediate IT skills (including MS office) and familiarity with databases and report writing.
- Ability to plan, organise and multi-task.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines.
- Good communicator in a variety of media.
- experience of providing secretarial support to a busy team, including diary management.
Desirable:
- experience of working for a residential landlord, preferably in social housing.
- experience of administering complaints
- experience of improving systems
- experience of managing the administration of external contracts (particularly parking enforcement, pest control and security systems).
