Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Services Apprentice to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, fixed term basis and will receive a salary of £14,000 per annum.

A Neighbourhood Services Apprentice in our team would present an exciting opportunity to any enthusiastic individual wishing to join our energetic Neighbourhood Services Team in Thamesmead and help deliver and shape services for local residents in the South region.
Thamesmead is undergoing significant changes and as an apprentice they would have the opportunity to be involved with the innovative regeneration plans including attending and volunteering at the community and public events undertaken by regeneration and asset management.
By working in our team of housing officers, community safety officers and Neighbourhood wardens and joint working with other teams and partnering agencies, they will develop their skills in customer service, team work, organisation, communication (including negotiation and influencing) and problem solving. This Neighbourhood Services Apprentice is a varied and rewarding role where you can make a difference to local residents.
The knowledge and skills gained in this front line service could lead to potential job opportunities within the resident services teams, other teams in the south region or the wider organisation of Peabody and indeed transferable skills in other places of work.
In order to be eligible for the Apprenticeship scheme you MUST meet the following eligibility criteria (for funding purposes):
- Aged between 16 and 24
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Must not have a degree or any level 4 qualifications
This Neighbourhood Services Apprentice role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
