We are looking for a part-time sole charge live out nanny with housekeeping duties to look after our 2 children aged 2 and.
5. We are looking for someone who is kind, fun, happy, flexible, hardworking and tidy.
DAYS/HOURS:
-Either 3 full days 8.30am-6pm or 2.5 days (2 full days and 1 afternoon) on Tuesday to Thursday (or Wednesday to Friday).
-Permanent position (we're seeking a stable and long-term arrangement).
-Starting ideally from July/August 2022, but could wait until September for the right candidate.
DUTIES:
-During term time, taking the youngest to morning nursery and sometimes also the eldest to school (both within 5 minute walk).
-The role includes some light housekeeping tasks to fill the hours while the youngest is at nursery (a cleaner will be retained for heavy housekeeping). Ideally this would involve keeping house in order and include things like putting away grocery delivery, unloading dishwasher, tidying and cleaning children’ rooms and living areas, laundry and some ironing, possibly some cooking, occasional shopping and errands. (Or we would also consider someone who is happy to take less hours during term time.)
-Then picking the youngest up from nursery bringing her home and she has a nap at home. Then picking the eldest up from school and looking after them both in the afternoon. This would include supervising homework, playdates, giving them an evening meal, bath etc.
-During school holidays, the role would be focused on looking after the children and arranging days out etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Fluent English
-Minimum of 2 years childcare experience with solid references
-Ideally a good cook and high standard of general housekeeping
-Positive, proactive and flexible person with a can-do attitude
-Reliable and punctual with a very high attendance record
-Live local with easy commute
-Non-smoker
-Well organized
-Updated DBS before start date
