Part time live-out nanny required two days a week for charge of two boys, one 7 1/2 year old and one 3 1/2 year old. Workdays would be Tuesday and Wednesday, approximately 7.30am to 7pm. Some flexibility would be helpful for the occasions when I may need to swap a work day.
The ideal candidate will have nanny experience of children at school and pre-school age. We would expect you to be energetic, down to earth, professional but with a fun approach to caring for and nurturing our children, organised and used to running kids to and from school/nursery and after school activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Physical care and safety of our children on a day to day basis.
- Taking and collecting our eldest to and from school by car.
- Helping with homework after school.
- Taking and collecting our youngest to nursery school in the mornings by car.
- Preparing and providing well balanced meals.
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms tidy
- Washing and ironing the children’s clothes
- Attending classes and playgroups with our pre-Schooler and arranging playdates
- Hosting playdates with our eldest
We are looking for someone to start at the beginning of October, or ideally the week before to have a handover with our existing nanny. Both boys are happy, well behaved children and we are looking for someone who is loving, eager and enthusiastic to engage our children. We would expect you to be CRB checked, possibly OFSTED registered but not essential, with a full driving license.
The position is based in Wandsworth, SW18 2DU.
Salary commensurate with the experience needed to fulfil such a role.
