We are two Clapham Junction families (one Kiwi and one South African) looking for a nanny to look after our two children as part of a nanny share arrangement from January 2022.
The role involves caring for two children a boy and girl (thirteen months in January) over four days a week with the potential to increase to 5 days from May.
We are looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny/ early childhood teacher who is OFSTED registered (or willing to be), accepts childcare vouchers and has the necessary DBS/ CRB checks in place (or willing to get them in place) and a valid first aid certificate.
We’re looking for someone who loves children, is fun, energetic and creative, as well as organised, reliable and punctual.
Hours will be 7:30am - 7pm Tuesday-Friday (to be discussed and may vary slightly)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the babies.
- Playing with the babies including in the garden, reading and talking with them as well as taking them out for walks in the double buggy
- Taking the babies to playgroups, parks and activities locally
- Putting the babies down for naps
- Changing nappies and clothing
- Bathing the children
- Light housekeeping throughout the day (we have a cleaner so housekeeping includes cleaning up after meal preparation, tidying up after the children and loading the dishwasher and washing machine)
The children will be looked after predominantly in one families home.
We are both non-smoking household so a non-smoker is essential.
