From time to time we will both be working late or start early, meaning some evening babysitting duties or early starts will be required. Our son goes to school from 9am-3pm in term time; our daughter is at home all the time.
You will look after both children and do a range of activities to support their development. Also to cook nutritious meals for them, prepare packed lunches, communicate with us, do any child related admin. Keep all areas used by children clean and tidy. Clean, launder and maintain their clothes, Toys, buggies etc.
Our family
Our previous nanny of 4 years is moving out of London so we are looking for somebody new to take on this highly rewarding and enjoyable role looking after our two young children. We are a sensible, down-to-earth family in our early thirties. Our daughter (15 months) is a very bubbly lively personality and very happy and easy going. She likes balls and playing chase. She also likes shapes sorters, stacking cups etc. She very much enjoys her swimming and music classes and is very sociable. She eats well. Our son (4.5 years) is bright, thoughtful and kind. He is quite shy and thrives on praise, but equally it’s important to be firm and consistent with him as he can be mischievous at times. He loves swimming and music/singing. He enjoys water play, Lego and is currently very interested in space.
The area
Putney has a huge array of activities going on for children. We are 7 Mins from East Putney tube, 15 minutes from Putney rail station and there are plenty of buses. A car parking space could be arranged if you drive (though we will not need you to drive our children).
Live in or Live out
We will consider either a local live-out nanny or a live-in nanny. For live-in roles, it is also important to us that you feel welcome and that you have enough personal space and privacy within the house. We have a nice house with a garden that will easily accommodate three adults and two children. If the role is live-in, the hours would be up to 60 hours per week (negotiable).

For clarification (as a few people have asked) we pay full tax, national insurance and any pension obligations. We will provide an employment contract and issue all the expected paperwork (payslips etc.)
Driving
We don't need a driver and unfortunately can't offer parking should you wish to drive to work (due to Wandsworth Council parking restrictions).
