Nanny PA for Busy Friendly Little Family

Posted: Today
Place: Goldhawk Road, W6

A busy and rewarding role supporting a small family in their daily lives; myself,  a disabled single mother, and my son, a funny and imaginative 8 year old.
I’m looking for a candidate who has insight into the reality of what it means to be disabled, and be an independent single mother. Someone who can understand the impact disability or serious illness has on us as a family. And really importantly, someone who can bring warmth and positive vibes through the front door!
Key areas of work include:
Nannying: including school drop offs and pick ups in term time, pre and post school, single and shared care. Plus full days in holidays.
PA/ disability support: e.g. Ordering repeat prescriptions, taxis and making phone calls, appointment changes etc. Helping me get to activities outside the home. Daily help with pain management, fetching and  carrying, scooter battery charging and pushing manual wheelchair occasionally.
Housekeeping: Shopping, tidying, cooking, some cleaning and organizing/ liaising with other helpers/ employees.
Childcare experience is essential
Practical carer experience is not essential. An insight into disability and how it affects family life is highly desirable, with the right attitude, and a willingness to learn on the job.
Candidates must be:

Reliable: because of the responsible nature of the job, reliability and punctuality are a must.
Good social skills
Articulate: Extremely fluent / near native English speaker and writer.
Organised
Clear DBS
Non smoker

Would suit a recent grad
And of course it would be great to have some similar interests to my son e.g. Biking, acting and theatre, minecraft, swimming to name but a few!
