We are a happy family of 4, with two girls aged 6 and 7 who are both in full time school. Both Mum and Dad work full time, sometimes from home.
We live in a beautiful home in central Chiswick, close to a park and shops as well as public transport.
We are looking for an experienced au pair plus, nanny or mother’s help to live in from end August/September 2022 (date can be flexible) and with the following requirements:
- approximately. 25-30 hours per week of childcare which would include in the morning helping to get the children ready for school (8-9am) and dropping them at school. You would then work from approximately. 3.15-7.30pm;
- provide healthy meals for the children when needed;
- clean the children's’ rooms and your own on a twice weekly basis or as needed;
- do the children's ironing;
- generally take care of the children's’ needs when not in school e.g. Arranging play dates, outings etc;
- babysitting once a week and one or two weekend half-days a month;
- light housework e.g. Emptying dishwasher, hanging up washing, tidying up after yourself and the children.
During term times, you would have plenty of time to do your own studies/free time. In the school holidays, when we are not away, we would agree extra hours as needed and you will be paid any extra hours.
In return, we offer a lovely house and you would have your own room on a separate floor from ourselves and the children. It has TV, Wifi access, en suite bathroom and separate kitchen for your use. The room is brand new as well as all furniture. We are happy to consider live out too depending upon the candidate.
Salary is negotiable - we are happy to pay a very competitive rate as well as food allowance and all expenses for when you are with the children.
We are looking for someone who is very flexible, speaks good English, who is well educated and has experience in looking after school-age children, particularly in relation to homework. Knowledge of music and French would be helpful.
We would expect you to have a DBS check already as well as an up to date First Aid certificate.
A full CV should also be sent together with salary expectations for this live in position.
First interview will be by phone so please do send full contact details.
We look forward to hearing from you.
