We are a friendly family living very close to Pitshanger Park in Ealing, five minutes walk from the amenities of Pitshanger Lane. We are looking for an experienced nanny for our three lovely children - a 6 year-old boy, 3.5 year-old girl and 1 year-old girl. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about looking after babies and young children and encouraging their development. The ideal candidate would be fun, caring, energetic, creative, responsible and enjoy play.
This is a permanent live-out position.
The job will be 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with occasional flexibility an option) and starting as soon as possible.
The hours will be from 8.00am to 6.30pm.
Duties will include:
- sole care of children
- school drop off/pick up for boy and nursery drop off/pick up for older girl at North Ealing Primary School, a few minutes’ walk away through park
- cooking healthy meals
- occasional children’s grocery shopping
- supervising homework
- arranging playdates and activities
- visiting local park and playground
- children’s laundry
- tidying children’s rooms and belongings
The candidate must:
- have previous experience of being a nanny and performing the duties outlined above
- previous experience working with children of similar ages
- be able to provide at least three good references from past employers and their contact details
- full CRB check
- ideally be OFSTED registered
- fluent English speaker
- have up to date child first aid training certificate
- be a non-smoker
- full rights to work in the UK (including all EU citizens)
Competitive rate of pay (fully Paye taxed through nannytax at our expense) depending on experience (higher if Ofsted registered).
25 days holiday per year and paid sick leave (discretionary and up to 10 days per year).
Optional evening or weekend babysitting opportunities available.
