A lovely family based in Wapping are looking for an affectionate, loving and experienced nanny to care for their 2 yr old son.  The family would love a nanny who can go at their son's pace on a day-to-day basis, staying home if he needs downtime or going out and about if he needs more stimulation.
Also someone who can:

Use positive disciple techniques e.g. Teaches rather than punishes.
Validates big feelings that come with this age.
Make sure the child feels heard and understood.
Get down to the child's level and explain rather than reprimand.
Focus on solutions rather than punishment.
Maintain kind but firm boundaries through explaining rather than time out.

Nanny Duties will Include:

Age-appropriate developmental play to support learning.
Attending some local classes
Spending time outdoors and going to local parks.
Spending time indoors and facilitating creative activities and downtime.
Supervising mealtimes
Batch cooking once a week when he's in nursery for the morning.

Nanny Qualities and experience:

experience looking after toddlers
Knowledge of child development and a child-led approach.
Loving, warm and affectionate
Enthusiastic with a pro-active get up and go attitude.
Playful, imaginative and creative
Able to commit long term
