Happy professional Stoke Newington family seek a part-time nanny-housekeeper for our two girls (both at school locally) from September. The job involves school pick-ups/drop-offs, taking to activities, hosting play dates, supporting home-work and creative activities, preparing meals; for house-keeping we are looking for day-to-day tidying (we have a cleaner). Alongside applicants from experienced nannies, we would also welcome applicants from individuals who combine this type of job with other careers - we very much hope the right candidate would stay with us for many years. Our current much loved employee is leaving us to move to Brighton after five years, where she will continue to pursue her career as an artist. The job might also suit someone currently working as a TA. We are open to suggestions!Exact hours negotiable to fit the right person, but as a core we are looking for at least 12 hours (3 days of 3.30-7.30), but this can be increased up to 20 hours across 4 days if desired/for the right candidate. We currently employ our nanny and would propose to continue this but would consider self-employed (at a higher rate) for a candidate doing a number of self-employed jobs. Essentials: • excellent spoken and written English (native fluency required); • reliability;• fun and creative individual;• ability to cook; • DBS check; • right to work in UK (evidence will be required); • Being able to drive is useful but is not essential;• ability to accommodate extra hours on request is an advantage.
