Single mum in Richmond Hill looking for an energetic and positive lady preferably late thirties to late forties to join our family i.e. Me and my 5 year old daughter as a full time nanny/housekeeper from 1 February please.
Work hours: 8am to 7.30pm daily Monday to Friday (with occasional longer days depending on my work requirements/work travel etc where notice will be given in advance)
Notice period: 1 month in writing if to be terminated by either party.
Duties:
- Prepare daughter for school in the mornings - help with getting dressed, prepare and give her breakfast, drop off to school.
- She is at school 9am to 3pm during this time I require help with the following please (food shopping, cooking, hoovering, laundry, filling/emptying dishwasher, generally keeping our small flat tidy and clean)
- Pick daughter up at 3pm and take her to playdates and birthday parties as organised by me or to afterschool activities eg swimming (all of these will be walking distance on Richmond Hill so no need to drive or hold a driving license)
- Provide her with a nutritious supper, go through her school homework and reading, give her a bath and prepare for bed.
- Friday after school drop daughter off at her father's flat (bus journey from Richmond to Barnes) and carry on with duties there until he comes home from work usually 6pm and hand over to father.
- During school holidays the nanny element would be more than the housekeeping element and she should be ready to do this although there will be holiday camps etc to replace some of the time spent at school.
Requirements:
- A positive can do attitude and hardworking.
- Vigilant and has attention to detail eg keep daughter safe at all times, give me heads up if she looks ill or not fit for school etc.
- Being able to cook nutritious food
- Patient and kind with kids although my little one is incredibly well behaved and is a delight to look after.
- Background checks / references / first aid.
- If there is an additional language eg French or Spanish this would be an added bonus.
