We are a friendly family based in East Twickenham who are looking for a nanny / housekeeper to keep an eye on our three children after school as well ensure the household keeps ticking over. Our two daughters aged 14 and 11 are both at a local secondary school while our 10 year old son is starting his final year at primary school. We both work full-time and travel regularly for work.
While the kids can get themselves to and from school, we would like someone who can be at home for them, co-ordinate activities, encourage homework and prepare a healthy evening meal.
In addition to this there would be housekeeping duties e.g. Changing the beds, doing the laundry and ironing, dropping off and picking up items from the dry cleaners, keeping the house tidy and ordering groceries online for children's evening meals and packed lunches. We already have a cleaner who comes weekly.
It is a live out position and the basic hours will be 4-7pm but occasionally slightly earlier or later depending on what's going on. There will also be hours available for babysitting and school holidays.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with kids and enjoy their company
- Be caring, organised and reliable
- Have excellent English
- Be a good cook
- Be flexible on hours
- Be able to commit for at least 12 months
