Start: end-April
Working hours: Tuesday and Thursday 6-8 hrs (12noon-6pm or 7.30am-2pm), Wednesday 10-12 hrs.
Salary: £11-12 p/h

A laid back and relaxed family with a 22-month-old toddler is looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to join their family. The child attends nursery on most days during the week (including Tuesdays and Thursdays) but on Wednesdays stays at home and needs to be looked after. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you will spend up to 4 hours on housekeeping duties (when the child is at nursery) and the rest of the hours you will be responsible just for the child; on Wednesdays, when the child is at home, only childcare duties will be required from you, and they include spending time in the parks and playgrounds, taking the child to playgroups and activities, playing with the child, putting him down for an afternoon nap, preparing meals for him, and all other duties that childcare brings. Housekeeping duties required by the family include cleaning their 3-bedroom/3-bathroom house, family ironing, preparing meals just for the child (for the parents helping with meal preparation like chopping veg, preparing ingredients etc.), running errands, keeping an eye on stock (including grocery), helping the family to organise the home and perform deep/spring clean on occasion. There are 2 low-allergy cats in the family, but you won’t be responsible for them (maybe occasionally to let them out or feed them, and only if you agree), and this position is purely sole charge. Applying for this position you must have at least 3 years of experience in the similar role in the UK, up to date CRB/DBS and Paediatric First Aid (or willing to renew/process these immediately).
